Can someone who speaks Arabic please do some research on the other body - the one that was found 6 weeks ago? Any other articles on it, or information would be greatly appreciated.

Mathew this article in Syria news was written by a person named Ahmad Satouf, said the woman body was found in a large black suitcase in the suburb of Homs and that the authority still awaiting someone to identify her, I realy hope she is not your sister but you need to inform your embassy to chek with hums police.... Firas.

OK..
The body that was found a month and halh ago had long black hair, was 175 cm tall, was fat and lactating (indicating she just had a baby).

One other thing, the article was from March 29th (which indicates the incident happened even before that).

correct this information was from an article posted 3/29/07..so realy do not match your sister ..but will not hurt to confirm with the authorities, the body kept at Al-Hareth general Hospital in Hums...Firas.

I read the article and I believe she wasn't your sister. The article indicated that she wore green clothes, not red.
I'm a Syrian in the USA and I'll mention your sister tonight in my pray.
