NationalJournal.com appears to be a mostly politics-centered blog, but I wouldn't doubt that Mr. Powers may know people in the industry who may take an interest in publishing the story in the American media.

In addition to my comment above starting with "NationalJournal.com is"

It may be difficult to approach Mr. Powers and just come out and ask him about whether he knows someone who could help. :\ Asking favors from strangers isn't ever easy.

I still think it is a very good idea to get this into the American media through any professional avenue possible, and am brainstorming ways to get this done.

I agree with your comments, Jess; however, Mr. Powers is now aware of Nicole's story and has had contact with Matthew, albeit limited. He may have contacts in the media to whom he could pass this on, or could provide Matthew with tips on how to get the attention that is so desperately needed.

I still can't believe, to this day, that this has not made it into American media somehow.
